In 1833, at the heart of a quiet valley, a brilliant inventor named Antoine LeCoultre set up a small workshop handcrafting outstanding luxury Swiss watches and clocks infused with a strong spirit of creation. His workshop would later become Jaeger-LeCoultre.

Since its inception, precision of movement and design have been paramount to the mission of the Grande Maison, set in the calm and serene setting of the Vallée de Joux, also known as the “valley of horological complications.”

With almost 200 years of history, Jaeger-LeCoultre is a pioneer in Swiss watchmaking due to its constant innovation and originality that pushes the limits of watchmaking.

Jaeger-LeCoultre watches is one of the few watch manufacturers which creates, develops, embellishes, and assembles all luxury watches and clocks by hand in its workshops. Since its establishment, the manufacturer has housed all 180 professionals, techniques, and technologies under one roof to produce Swiss watchmaking creations of the highest quality.
