I purchased this watch new from Amazon.com LLC. I chose the 2nd day air option. The watch came with it’s outer box and the famous inner red patent leather box which holds the watch inself. The Amazon 2yr warrenty is enclosed with a tiny instruction pamplet (no hard cover Omega manual) with hardly any info(Amazon needs to do better in this regard). I purchased the mid-size quartz model since I have a small wrist and have no room for another automatic in my watch winder in addition to saving a few hundred bucks:). This is my first and probably last Omega. The blue dial is a work of art and can best be desribed as “electric”. The lume is about as good as my Seiko Orange Monster which is excellent. The biggest shock is the overall size…I thought Amazon had sent me the ladies version! The watch really isn’t that small but the rotating bezel makes the disl look small (if you have a large wrist better upgrade to full size). The band other than having polished accents is no better than my $300 Seiko Spirit’s SS band. I gave the watch 3 stars due to the steep price…I mean $500 might be a good starting point. But, considering the Omega Seamaster is the best looking dive watch out there I may have locked in a bargain.

Tired of big, noisy watches? the omega mid quartz blue/ stainless bezel, is perfect. same size as my rolex datejust. Great secure watchband. Easy to read dial, even in the dark. I wear a 7.5 watch band, midsize is perfect. blue is dark & the stainless bezel is very conservative. Amazon prices & service so good, I also bought black/black bezell midsize. purge valve probably unnecessary, but it’s not in the way & people are really surprised when I press it & take a picture. there may be a better watch for the money, my Rolex is an appreciating classic, the omega is better than my B&M and my Tag 2000 racer. Hopefully I can check back in 5 years & tell you how long battery lasts!

I’ve had my Omega for a few weeks now, and am thoroughly pleased. It seems to keep near perfect time.
Unlike the previous review, I received the watch in it’s red leather case along with complete Omega instructions (written in umpteen languages). Bear in mind that the warranty is through Amazon, NOT Omega, but this is clearly stated.
Watches have become so much more than time pieces…they are fashion. If you like blue dial faces, you couldn’t find a better choice. It is spectacular. I personally chose the mid (36mm) version, because this is the style I prefer. However, this particular Seamaster could easily be worn in larger (41mm) size by almost everyone (my wrist is 6 3/4). The stainless bezel surrounding the blue dial does make the watch “appear smaller”, so if you are into the current trend of larger watches, by all means consider the full size version. Keep in mind that the bracelet is slightly wider also on the full size. The best idea is to go to an Omega dealer and try it on your wrist. Bottom line is…it’s an Omega!
