I bought this watch as an impulse buy from another site. I was not expecting too much from it, I just needed a simple watch for daily use and being a Hamilton it seemed like a good deal.Finally the day it arrived and i opened the well packaged Hamilton box; it was a beauty!!! Didn’t look much from the pictures but in person this was a remarkable piece.
Normally i steer clear of the newer Hamilton watches which have too much going on in the dials, from a slide rule/numbers to tachy to other measurement devices. Such watches are better suited for professionals who use it in the field and know what they are doing with it, otherwise its just for show which defeats the whole purpose of the watch; tell time.
This watch from top end looked plain Jane white, however tilt it to an angle and this thing shimmers its beautiful silver dial which looks like its 5 times its current cost. The HMS indicators have needle tips and tells the time accurately. The best feature of all is the 24HR military markings which i have to use for work on a daily basis. Add in a date feature and 5 min division and this thing does very accurately what it was intended for. The only downsides are the Lume and the case is prone to scratches quite easily. All in all this is an excellent watch with a minimalist design that garners lots of compliments from people who appreciate quality watches.
